After I've spent the good part of the day digging dirt, throwing heavy boulders, getting dirty, sweating, tending my wounds, filling my drywasher in the heat of the desert, in search of thaqt preciouse metal. After I've traveled thousands of miles, to my favorite river up north, assembled my dredge, slipped into my wetsuit and slithered into the freezing water, the fun begins, I hold the nozzle of my 3'' hose against the bottom of the river, sucking up all that rock gravel and sand, sucking air through my huka, working deeper and deeper to hit the bedrock, hours under water. Gold prospecting is just hard work! Now I have a bucket of concentrate and its time to pan. I am an old prospector, and I am in no race. It's time to enjoy the fruits of my labors. After all the work Iv'e done, I'm in no rush. I want to collect all the gold, even the flower gold. I sit back, pop a frosty and enjoy my work.
